DESCRIPTION

Lapis is the Latin word for “stone” and lazuli is the derived from the Medieval Latin word, lazulum. It means “sky” or “heaven”; so this is literally a “stone of the sky” or a “stone from heaven”. This console takes elaborate hand carving and infuses the lapis colour within the weight of limestone to bring an airy, mystical feel. A piece of furniture designed to astound and bring dynamic energy to any space.
